   I looked at this for a long time before I ordered it but I’m glad I finally did. It looks expensive and goes great on my patio which has a large concrete fountain and black wrought iron furniture. I’m thinking of buying another do I can have one on each side of the entrance. Great quality for the price, easy to install the propane bottle and looks pretty at night.

   It came well packed and in perfect condition. Quality of this seems very good. It came with roughly 1# of black fire glass. I’ll probably buy 2# locally of a different color to fill it up a bit more. There was no assembly required other than putting the fire glass in and screwing on the propane canister. It I have it right next to my patio furniture table so it gives off a decent amount of heat plus some nice ambient light. I bought a adapter to refill the 1# tanks with my 20#er. Very happy with my buy.

   These are just what we were looking for, something small and easy. We owned a large gas fireplace before that was on our deck, but it was just so huge it got in the way more than anything. These are small and fairly light, they can be picked up and moved around if needed (obviously don’t pick them up where the fire is lit). The other big plus is that these come fully assembled. We purchased two and one arrived with a cracked case, their customer service promptly sent us another along with free shipping for the return, the replacement arrived within days and is in use right now.The only drawback is that they use the smaller lantern propane canisters, which cost quite a bit more than the big 20lb tanks that are normally used on the larger fireplaces, but if you know that going in, then it’s just sort of a cost that’s baked into the cake, so to speak. These smaller canisters last roughly 4 hours at full flame, the simply screw into the bottom of the fireplace.

   We had been looking for a gas fireplace to put on our screen in deck and came across this one. We did not want anything large and this one worked out well. We first bought a small table top fireplace that used the same sized propane tank as this one. It went back the next day as made too much noise. It’s sounded like a camping stove and not the effect we were after. This one is quiet, and only hear the flames flickering. On the lowest setting the flames are about four inches and flicker around. On high, the flame is about eight inches high, and does not flicker as much since it’s more peaked. The low setting is exactly the effect we wanted and that was something to watch while sitting outside on a fall day. It does put out some heat, although I would not recommend buying it to sit outside and stay warm on a cold night as it’s more for ambiance. I uploaded several pictures of the actual product so you can see it first hand. It did arrive with a few nicks in it, and there is a small brush with touch up paint. Update: 7/20/2021 – No problems with it working. I see the ability to finally upload pictures and adding five to the review. They show an actual picture of it, burning low flame, burning high flame, inside where propane tank is mounted, and the black fire glass included.

   This very well build fire column, arrived on time and in perfect shape, no issues with damage as some people have stated, very well packaged. Worked just fine about three times, then had virtually no flame to the point it would almost go out. The next time it was some better, but today I tried it and would not even light. No smell or sound of gas at all. I have worked with propane and propane accessories – no, I am not Hank Hill… – so took the burner assembly out and removed the orifice. Even with that there was no presence of gas when attached to a full propane bottle which told me there was a blockage somewhere below the orifice. I managed to clean and blow out what ever it was, and working like a champ, at least for now. Seems even stronger than before. This does not upset me that much as I could and did address the problem successfully, but for others it would likely be a cause for a return. Hopefully the problem will not come back, so am looking forward to many hours service from this nice product. But the quality control perhaps need some tweaking.

   We love this fire pit! Although it is designed to use the small disposable 1lb tanks, it has a built-in regulator and can easily be converted to use the same 20lb refillable tank as your BBQ grill. All that is needed is a $10 adapter hose.

   Received this product last week. I am not a handy woman, but this product was really easy to put together. But I liked this product so much I purchased another one.Side Note: Its a lot cheaper to purchase your propane from your local Wal-mart…

   Perfect for our deck. Easy to use . I added 12” tile as rain cover.
