Things we like – the style, the color and how the blades retract is amazing! Things we do not like or have had challenges with- 5-60 watt bulbs are recommended for these fans but unless you are placing them on a runway this is entirely too bright. When we received the fans, one of the light kits could not be attached to the fan because the parts provided were not accurate. Luckily we had already unpacked and it and put together another one of these fans so we recognized this immediately. The threaded tubing that holds the light to the fan had to be taken out and cut to size and reinstalled. The electrician who installed the fans charged us extra money for doing this modification.

Fan is gorgeous-looks beautiful! Love the remote. It did take some thought to install, we were fortunate that our light box straddle the beam so we were able to get it to workout. If you haven’t installed more than a standard ceiling fan you will probably needs some help, but it will be worth it. Love this fan!

Instructions were not the most clear and at first I second guessed my purchase. However once it was installed and we turned it on, I was instantly in love. We’re even thinking of purchasing for other rooms in the house.

We wanted to change from a traditional fan with blades always out, and so this works great. Instructions were not very clear, and it doesn’t fit into existing electrical box, but with a little ingenuity you can get past that, also remote receiver has to be fit into top shroud and was tight, but all in all we got it up and it is quiet and really puts out some air!

I’ve installed dozens of ceiling fans in our homes at this point in my life. Never have I had such a oh sh** moment as when I was preparing to install this one. The hanger piece that gets installed on the ceiling outlet is significantly larger than a standard, US, ceiling outlet. According to the installation instructions the only options for install would be a concrete ceiling or full wood ceiling. Now, we do have wood joists that run across, and thankfully my builder had installed a wood beam between the joists like he was supposed to. I was able to anchor the hanger from that and finish up the install. Remote works great. In fact, I bought this fan because the first one I bought claimed to come with a remote but it was actually a wall switch which would have required me running new wiring from the light switch to the ceiling outlet. This fan comes with a standard hand held remote. There is a cradle for it, but no mounting screws for the cradle. I don’t use the timer feature as we typically leave fans on permanently. The light from this fixture is significant. I used 5 Sunco ST64 LED bulbs. I love it. I have had 2 instances where the light began “pulsing” slightly. I turned the lights off, waited 5 minutes, and then back on it went.I do love the style of the light. It is in my home office which is not big plus I have light hangers intruding into the overhead space for an aquarium. So I needed something that put out decent airflow without having a huge diameter. This has fit the bill.I generally leave the fan on low. As the day warms up and the aquarium drives up the humidity in my office I bump it up to medium. I only tested high once and it was overkill for my space.

Its a decent fan so far. Not too hard to install. The switchblade feature is pretty cool (no pun intended). The directions are terrible but its not too hard to figure out. I installed three fans in one day. This one took the longest due to the wiring of the remote and the fitting of it being so tight. Blades of the fan are plastic which makes me question longevity. Very industrial looking, not a fit for every room but works for my specific application.
