I put mine outside on my back porch and it really moves air. It is a wee bit loud (sounds like a propeller) when on high, but it is moving a lot of air so I really don’t care. I cannot say enough about this fan!

Fans (I bought 2) are up and running just fine, they blow the air around great, damp rated, have them on a outdoor covered patio next to the house. Match just fine with the patio and house.

The fan generates air movement throughout the 1200 sq.ft. of the great room in my condo. The metal looks great with my industrial style. The only difficulty I had is balancing the blades. It took a lot of patience to get it right!
