8 reviews for 96″ Ventamatic ICF96 Big Air Industrial Ceiling Fan, 9 Blades 6 Speed Reversible

  1. I actually don’t know about the warmth but I’ll tell you the coolness is well worth it. It’s hanging in my local bar and restaurant out side and it works well. Everyone comments, what a pleasure. I would buy again. As far as warmth goes in sure it will do just as good. Six speed remote helps. Oh, it’s also whisper quite on high. This fan does the same job Big Ass fans does at half the price. Well constructed and a breeze to install. Pull the trigger, you won’t be unhappy.

  2. I’ll send a pic of my install in a pool house/cabana. The space is 31’ by 18 with my fan over the left 3rd of the space. I’m really happy with the airflow all over the space even it’s not in the middle. My fan is 11’ off the floor with 4’ space above it. I’ve read reviews that it doesn’t circulate a lot of air. Wrong. Moves a ton of air. I don’t know what people expect. It doesn’t blow air like a hamster wheel fan. No supposed to. You feel air moving all aver the entire space without everything blowing around. But that’s a 3rd of the reason for this review. Super quiet and amazingly smooth operation. On the highest setting there is no noise or wobble. The only noise is the fan cutting air. A great purchase. The last reason to buy this is it’s not a Minka. Had a neighbor put a 6’ Minka in and there is no comparison. No air from the Minka. They look nice but it’s a complete poseur fan. The Big Air has the quality and airflow of a big ass fan but cheaper and easier to install.

  3. Fan is boxed very well and it arrived WAY faster than BiltPros predicted– two days instead of 10 days. Instructions are very clear and the parts have an excellent quality that makes assembly easy. Important point–these industrial fans need plenty of airspace above them. The blades are huge and they need air to move. Complaints about “doesn’t move enough air,” show a lack of understanding about these kinds of fans. If you want a hurricane blowing on you, just get a box fan.I fabricated a 20 inch downtube for a custom installation. There is just enough room to be on the ladder to install the last blade. I was concerned about this, but it worked just fine–tight, but fine. The screws for the remote control mount are not the best quality and strip easily, so be careful with them. All the other hardware was of good quality, and I had no problems.I’m working with a 2000 sq.ft. space that has a 16′ roof. This fan is over the main work area as a test. We’re very happy with it, so will be getting three more soonest.

  4. I did a lot of research before buying my 96” Big Air fans. The only complaint that I would read about is not feeling the air movement. Well – that certainly isn’t the case for my two fans. I have 14’ ceilings in my 68×32 shop and with 2 fans going, the air movement is quite remarkable. Installation was very straight forward and there are plenty of YouTube videos available if the instructions aren’t clear for you. Don’t spend 4x on the other big fans out there when these Big Air fans are just as good. By the way, they also look great!!

  5. The fan is mounted 20 feet up in a large area and moves a ton of air. This fan does have a button to reverse the direction, I am thinking that is what the other people are having issues with. This is the first one I have purchased and will likely buy more for our facility if it holds up to to the type of fabrication/manufacturing environment it is located in. I will give an update after 6 months of daily use.

  6. I’ve now purchased four of these. They don’t blow a hurricane….but the move a large volume and keep the air moving almost silently. Which is what I wanted them to do. Also none of the four have required any balancing of the blades. On high they are without any “wobble” and almost silent. If you want steady silent air movement these are the ones for you.

  7. Like fan a lot built an 40 x 60 shop perfect size!

  8. Powerful fan and superb air movement in my large 14’ ceiling garage. Remote performs flawlessly 20’ from the fan. Easy install with everything needed. Looks incredible!
