Good quality, very little wobble at high speed. Cover at mount is large to allow for wiring and remote receiver if you put one in. Bottom is wired for light fixture and has multiple ways to attach. From photo you can see I mounted a simple outdoor rated fixture. Do NOT buy cheap fans.. they work of putting up, taking down to return is a real pain. MAKE IT BETTER: Need to put mesh screen on ALL openings (only has on top) need mesh on all openings to prevent bugs from making home inside. I think tiny wobble due to some screws slight mismatch. Really wish there were more options for outdoor rated fans under $200. HINT: put some tape on side of fan body so you do NOT scratch motor body as you put in screws.

Simply put, this is BY FAR one of the best products at one of the fairest prices anywhere. Bought six (6) for covered porches on our restoration. Installation went without a hitch (in 125 year-old house – that’s a claim one doesn’t hear frequently) and their performance over the first months has been flawless. The are effective, quiet and obviously well made. A real surprise with a trusted name for this price. We are very pleased.

Looks attractive but a little on the traditional side. No flush mount option. Installed three of these outside on a covered patio. There are two options for color of the blades – plain black looks good. Quiet and smooth operation. I’m taking off 1 star because they don’t move as much air as I had hoped on full speed. It’s decent but if you are looking for a strong breeze this isn’t it.

I had this fan installed by a professional and it runs perfectly. Effective in circulating the air around in the room and is very quiet. Sleek and beautiful style since I prefer overhead fans without the ugly lights attached. In the past I’ve never been disappointed with Hunter table fans so I look forward to many years of use with this Hunter ceiling fan.

We wanted a black ceiling fan on our porch that would look similar to the antique Hunter fans made many years ago. It looks great and works awesome. The blades on this fan are sealed to help protect against moisture and therefore not becoming drooped or warped. I also installed the Hunter 99119 Remote Control kit that fits in the ceiling wiring hub. Both the fan and the remote control work flawlessly and both are rated for damp location installation.

Whisper quiet, but not as easy to install as some have said. Though it was not difficult, it took longer then some cheapie ceiling fans that I’ve had in the past. Of course I’m 71 years old so it might have something to do with it. Over all I am very pleased with this fan.

I ordered this for my outdoor patio. I don’t have an extension rod on this fan, just the standard 6-8″ dropdown. The ceiling on the patio is about 10-12′ high. This fan can move some “major” air!! It creates a breeze in August that can keep four of us cooled with no problem. I did not install a remote control but opted for a pull cord which works perfectly. The balance is very good and does not “wobble” in the least. It is very quiet which is important. It has stood up well in all conditions for the last several years. Highly recommend it!!
