   Looks great and there is no glass which means there are no dead bugs that can’t find there way out of a glass bowl.

   Overall we are happy with these lights. I bought and installed two of the double-light fixtures and two of the single-light fixtures. The first two were difficult to install, but the next two went a little smoother as I figured out how to install them. I have installed dozens of light fixtures and ceiling fans over the years, but these are not very intuitive and the instructions are not very clear. Obviously they were trying for the universal pictorial instructions so they wouldn’t have to translate into 22 languages. But, the pictures are not at all clear. I included a copy of the instructions because some customers said their lights didn’t include them. A couple of pointers. First, be sure to line up the two mounting holes on the light fixtures and make sure you put the “D” screws in the proper threaded holes. Double check your work and make sure the screws line up with the holes in the fixtures after you install them to the round mounting plate. If they’re off a little bit you will never get the light fixture installed. I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 because of two things. First, the aforementioned instructions that need to be more clear and should offer tips for installation. Second, the hardware that’s included is cheap and flimsy. The “threaded” portions on the round mounting plate are poorly threaded, easily stripped and do not hold well. Also, the “D” screws should be replaced by studs that have a slot on one end so you can easily adjust the length prior to installing the finish nuts. Better instructions and better hardware and I would give these a 5 star rating. The bulbs we bought were from Lowes. They are dimmable LEDs (60W equivalent). I included a photo. Very happy with how these bulbs look with these light fixtures. They complement quite well. Bonus that they are dimmable in case you want that option. They give off a very nice amber glow.

   Great product. It comes already assembled. You will need to purchase light bulbs.  I do love them. A big change from the boob lights from the builder. If you want to switch to the farmhouse look, I would highly recommend.

   This fixture is gorgeous! I put three of them on our patio, and they look amazing! I did install them myself with no help (39 year old woman with no electrical experience). Just had a ladder that was about a foot shorter than the ceiling, so I could rest the fixture on top. However, the install was quite difficult and time consuming. The bracket that came with the fixture would not attach to the box with the screws that go into the fixture being the right orientation so that the fixture was squared off on the ceiling. I had to get a swing bracket from Home Depot, which worked fine. Then the screws that come with the fixture are too long so I couldn’t get it flush to the ceiling – and couldn’t move the screws up in the swing bracket because they hit the edge of the box. So another Home Depot trip for shorter screws. There’s also a bunch of insulation which can make it difficult to put the screws through the holes in the fixture. But the insulation is perforated where the screws should go through, so I put on gloves and used a finger to create a larger opening in the insultation to get the screw through. Installing all 3 fixtures took me forever, but I absolutely love how they look, so it was worth it!

   I put this in a newly remodeled laundry room. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because they show it with Edison bulbs. I ended up buying a 6 pack of Edison bulbs to use for this light and for the future. However, the Edison bulbs did not provide nearly enough light so I had to switch to standard bulbs. Now I have a bunch of Edison bulbs on hand…I can’t return them because I opened up and put in 2 of the bulbs. The light inself is as described and I’m happy with it, but be aware that if you want a decent amount of light, Edison bulbs may not be the way to go. I’m sure many people are happy with the Edison bulbs, but I needed more light to do laundry.

   Lovely, but hard to install. I’ve seen a lot of reviewers say how hard it was to install, but they didn’t tell you how to do it. So, make sure you thread the long screws through the threaded holes!!!!! This was they do not push up into the canister when you attempt to hang the fixture. Also, clear away the fireproofing from the holes so you can look through both holes like binoculars to line the screws up! Whalaaa! Worked like a charm after 25 minutes and sore shoulders from chasing the screws. Love it.
