5 reviews for Ashford Brushed Nickel Sensor Touch Kitchen Sink Faucet Pull Out Sprayer Mixer Tap Swivel Spout

  1.  Installs like any other faucet except for the touchless control. It comes with a control unit that is powered by 4 AA batteries. One end of the control unit connects by screw in and the other end is a push in so it is dummy proof. The black wire connects to the black wire on sensor on the faucet and the red wire connects to the red wire on the battery unit. You tap the stem of the faucet 3 times to activate the touchless feature. That is also the way to reset the touchless control if it stops working. Good value for the money.

  2. After 12 years of sporadic performance my Delta touch faucet solenoid crapped out. Price of the solenoid replacement alone was close to the cost of this faucet. Removing my old faucet took over an hour with poorly designed hard to reach nuts. This faucet took 10 minutes to install. As an aerospace engineer I appreciated the simple ingenuity in the design. Instructions are literally 5 sentences. Spread the lines as suggested by seller and other reviewers and the faucet operated flawlessly with no leaks the first try and worked (100%) with no delays in operating touch, touch-less, and pull-out. The motion/proximity sense picks up quick hand movements 100% (slow movements less). The touchless area is anywhere within 3 inches of the head and anywhere between the gooseneck. I am impressed. This faucet works MUCH better than the Delta, stronger flow/spray, more features, looks better, at 1/5 the price and without the installation headaches…also uses 4 batteries instead of 6 and includes a hanger box to keep it secure (the Delta did not, just hung from plumbing to keep away from pullout hose)…I’m going to get a DC power supply next (faucet has standard input receptacle from battery box) and keep the battery box handy for power outs.

  3. Looking for a faucet to match the kitchen my options were limited, but I came across this one and the touch/touch less feature caught my eye. It has a good quality feel to it with some weight and the finish is perfect. Install was a breeze and if you have ever installed a faucet before its the same process. I like how this mounts to the counter, it is very secure and more solid than my previous one. The big feature is the touch/touchless function and it works great! The touchless works by moving your hand on the left or right of the neck, I got consistant results by pretending I’m pushing a button with my hand but don’t touch it and it works well. The touch has worked perfectly every time. There is a little adjustment to get used to it because you leave the handle turned on to use the touch, and basically just adjust the temp if you need to. I’ll be curious to see how long the batteries will last (4 AA). Overall for the price you can’t beat this.

  4. Was ready to buy another faucet that didn’t have the touch-on/touchless feature when I discovered this one. So glad I did. The regular faucet was of course less expensive (almost half the price), but I wanted to try this one out. Why not? It’s a pretty cool feature and worth paying a little xtra for. There are others with the touch on feature, but this one had the option of being touchless as well. Got to say it’s a nice feature to have and still getting use to it, but I love it so far. The faucet is very nice looking too! Water comes out nice and strong compared to the 5-year old faucet I replaced. Couldn’t stand how weak it was. This new faucet is great all around. Wish I found it sooner.

  5. Our facet, that we had for nearly 30 years, started leaking at the base so we purchased this one. It took about 30 to 45 minutes to install. We were excited about it… we turned it on and the water started slowly trickling out. We were so disappointed! So we planned to buy something else and once it arrived, we were going to replace this new facet. But, low and behold, after 2 days of use, the water pressure became normal and we are in love with this facet. We haven’t had any water pressure problems and this facet works great! We were about to pay “big money” for other high price facets but this meets our every need.
